Founded in 1994 by Marena Simmons-Jones, Nina Simmons  in Vallejo California. It all started with the 1st Daycare facility deciding to offer early childhood education with a "Special Touch". Our vision has been to establish early learning academies meeting the comprehnsive needs of our students and their families. 

 

Special Touch Day Care was founded in 1994 as a home childcare center focused on providing educational components. In 1998  Marena Simmons-Jones, Nina Simmons and Jean Covington also  founded Special Touch Learning Academy expanding its programs through to include private home schooling for grades kindergarten through fifth. Shortly after Special Touch HomeSchool /Child Care #2 founded and established by Marena Simmons-Jones. All our facilities believe in providing a safe, rich and valuable environment to meet the needs of each child.
